Get to Know Me

Up to this point, the journey to counselling has been a long and winding road. I have taken detours; when I have found things that have interested me. This has enriched my life and my ability to empathise with people. I have lived a life. After a long career in Customer Service, I decided that helping people emotionally would be a more fulfilling use of my time. Volunteering with The Samaritans and the training for a Diploma in Counselling Skills was invaluable. A solid foundation for what came next. Skip to gaining a 1st class honours degree in my 50s and working with The Hampton Trust, where I found a passion for helping men in abusive relationships change.
